I advise that due to ongoing COVID concerns, after discussions with the Lismore Committee, the Northern Region Teams Event has been cancelled for this year.

This most unfortunate but with the border between NSW and Queensland closed until the date of the event and potentially longer, parts of NSW in lockdown which may continue for some time, the danger of the current Covid strain and the worsening Covid situation generally it is considered to be the only decision that could be made to give everyone sufficient notice.

On behalf of the Organising Committee, I advise everything possible will be done to get the tournament on next year, ie, 2022.

Best wishes to all the Clubs and Associations that support the event and hopefully table tennis at the local level can continue where not on hold at present.
