The tournament consists of 3 or 4 Round Robin singles rounds depending on the number of entries. All players play each round against a different combination of opponents (though some players may play some opponents more than once). For the first round each table will be assigned a group of players with the objective of each table containing a spread of player skill. From that round onward players will be assigned to tables depending on how they finished the previous round. The organisers' objective is for each table to contain similarly ranked players at the commencement of the last round. Players will receive a final ranking. Players may be separated into graded pools (e.g. A and B) depending on entry numbers.

The value of prizes is $2,500. The approximate value of prizes for each table in the last round is $270 for Table 1 and $130 for Table 2 to 12.

Each player plays approximately 11 singles over the day. .
